Hulse and Olivia,
I can't believe that you are already 6 months old. It is almost hard for me to remember what you were like the first night that I met you. So small, sweet, and not quite sure you were ready to be out in the big world. Now, you're full of life and taking the big world by storm. What a blessing you are to your Dad and I. Our life before you came was fun, but I think we would both agree that the two of you make it more fun than we can handle sometimes. I'm prepared for the next 6 months to fly by like these have and before you know it I'll be planning a party for your first birthday. We thank God for you everyday and can't wait to watch all of the new things you're about to do!
Hulser at 6 months you have bright eyes and big cheeks. You are a little ahead of your sister on most things, as you should be as the big brother. You love to talk in a loud voice. You get excited and shout it out to anyone in ear shot. You're sitting up unassisted for longer and longer periods of time (when your not being a lazy boy), and it's a matter of time before you'll be able to get there on your own. You are a sweet boy who seems to "think" a lot. I can see the little gears turning sometimes. You love to play and will reach for toys and whatever is around. You love to eat carrots, sweet potatoes, peas, bananas, and of course you love your bottle. You're love of food is reflected in your big boy size. You weigh 18 pounds 2.5 ounces and are 26 1/2 inches long. You're wearing 6-9 month clothes and a size 2 shoe. Still not a lot of hair to speak of, but we're getting there. You are a superstar sleeper! We put you down, you immediately roll to your right side, and we don't hear from you again until we wake you up.
Livi at 6 months you are smiles and giggles. Such a little girl, you love to be entertained and clapped for. I think there is something involving a stage in your future. You love to talk our ears off, but usually in a much quieter way than your brother. You've come a long way in two weeks and can sit unassisted for quite a while; we work on it everyday and you get better and better. You love your toys also and are interested in reaching out for what's around you. You love to eat carrots, sweet potatoes, peas, bananas, and you like your bottle also. You're not quite as into food as Hulse, but you're still a good eater. You weigh 16 pounds and are 25 inches long. You're wearing 6 month clothes and still a 0-1 shoe, tiny tiny foot. You've got some hair and it ranges from strawberry blond to red in the back. You've got the red head temper to match. You will let anyone know when you're not happy, we'll have to work on the anger management a bit. You are a sleeper in training. You still don't like to sleep without being bundled, but if you're a baby burrito you sleep well.
